The Institute Celebrates Pride

Institute staff were delighted to join in celebrating Pride throughout the month of June. At events across New York, staff met with community members to share our Pride, offer health tips and education, and help New Yorkers connect with needed health services. Many people understandably delayed care during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we were excited to be back on the streets helping all in need to engage with respectful and affirming health care.
The Institute offers LGBTQ+ affirming primary care, mental health, dental care and social support services, and works to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, can access the health care they need. We understand how important it can be to trust your providers, and we work with each patient to identify a care team that’s right for you. In addition to helping you access primary and preventive care – regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay – we offer more specialized services, such as hormone therapy, at some of our locations.
