Cindy-Lou Killikelly receives 2022 United Hospital Fund Tribute to Excellence in Health Care Award

The Institute is pleased to share that Cindy-Lou Killikelly, BSN, RN, the Institute’s Chief Nursing Officer, received the 2022 United Hospital Fund Tribute to Excellence in Health Care Award. The Tribute to Excellence in Health Care Awards program recognizes and supports health care innovation and improvement aimed at achieving the highest quality patient care.

Since joining the Institute in 2011 as a Registered Nurse at the Stevenson Family Health Center, Ms. Killikelly has been laser-focused on delivering outstanding quality in nursing and across the entire Institute. She has worked to develop nursing department infrastructure and workflows, as well as nurse training and support through mentorship and leadership development. In 2021, she facilitated the workflow that led to the delivery of over 30,000 COVID-19 vaccines in New York City and the Mid-Hudson Valley. She currently serves as the Institute’s Vice President for Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.

Ms. Killikelly was honored along with other awardees at a ceremony hosted by United Hospital Fund on Monday, May 9, 2022.
