Brooklyn Residency in Family Medicine
Coming soon: Brooklyn Residency in Family Medicine
Recruitment will begin in the fall of 2024. The first class of residents will begin in July 2025.
The recently-accredited Brooklyn Residency in Family Medicine will offer an innovative family medicine training program for those who want to make a difference for their patients and communities. We will combine rigorous training at a dynamic urban community health center with an extensive curriculum that centers on advocacy and social justice in family medicine. Our program will prepare residents to provide not just outstanding care for their patients and communities, but also to embrace leadership opportunities that drive positive change within the field. This program will draw on the strengths of the other Institute for Family Health family medicine residencies from our experienced faculty, comprehensive training sites and extensive community resources, as well as our 30-year legacy of caring for communities deliberately neglected due to racism, poverty, and discrimination.
Information about Training Sites, Faculty and How to Apply will be available soon.
