Congratulations to the recipients of the Excellence in School Wellness awards!

Bronx Health REACH is pleased to announce that four of our HEA+LTHY Schools NY partner schools have received recognition from the NYC Strategic Alliance for Health for Excellence in School Wellness!

PS 218 and Sheridan Academy received Gold Medals, PS 43 received a Silver Medal, and PS 64 received an honorable mention. These awards publicly acknowledge and applaud schools that are champions in nutrition, physical activity, and wellness. The awards ceremony for the Bronx elementary schools took place on June 22nd at the Bronx Museum of the Arts where the schools were recognized for their commitment to creating a healthy environment for schoolchildren.
